Karaköy is a popular tourist area of the city, close to Galata Tower and just across the Golden Horn from the old city. Therefore, there are many hotels in this area, to suit every budget.
Below, we list a few representative local hotels. We do not earn anything from recommending these hotels, and there are many more suitable hotels available in the city. These are, however, quite close to the conference venue.
The Khai hotel is literally right next to the conference, and seems reasonably-priced.
The Union Hotel Karakoy is also reasonably-priced, and overlooks the Golden Horn. 6 mins from the conference, and also close to Karakoy Funicular Station (the ‘Tünel’).
10 Karakoy is 5 mins walk, a bit more expensive, but also a bit more luxurious (5-star).
The Bank Hotel is literally across the road from the conference, but as the name implies, it’s a bit more expensive again.
